Brian Campbell measured the East -West width of this hole to be16.04 mm, which equates to .63149606". The intended value was .6336" and the overflow is about 1/475th of an inch and visually undetectable.

The .6336" progression goes:

.6336, 1.2672, 1.9008, 2.5344, 3.168, 3.8016, 4.4352, 5.0688, 5.7024, 6.336, etc. The progression advances to produce 101.376' (1-second of arc in an equatorial circumference of 24883.2-miles of 5280' or 132383296'). This would be a shortfall of only 18.8-miles on the true circumference of 24902-miles. As stated:

The North-South measurement was 15.99 mm and this translates to .62952756". The intended value was .630 or about 1/2100th of an inch shortfall. The progression goes:

.63" and the value sets up the following mathematical progression:

.63, 1.26, 1.89, 2.52, 3.15, 3.78, 4.41, 5.04, 5.67, 6.3, 6.93, 7.56, 8.19, 8.82, 9.45, 10.08, 10.71, 11.34, 11.97, 12.6, 13.23, 13.86, 14.49, 15.12, 15.75, 16.38, 17.01, etc.

These values relate simultaneously to navigational and lunar-cycle coding. The Greek foot was 12.6" and the Greek/Hebrew reed was 126" or 10.5 English feet. The Assyrian cubit @ 25.2" was 2 Greek feet. The values 189, 378 & 756 were the quarter, half and full lengths of the Great Pyramid. The sum of 100.8' represented 1-second of equatorial arc. A "foot" measurement identified to Herodotus by Egyptian priests was 11.34" (of which here were 800 in the length of the pyramid). The sum of 1701-days would equate to 1/4th of the 6804-day lunar nutation cycle. The value 3.15 was one of the forms of PI used in certain calculations and the Sarsen Circle inner rim (based upon one of the cross-measures @ 100') is coding PI and half (so-called) Greek long stadia (630'). As mentioned, the other cross-measure was 100.8' or 1-second of arc.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system).

DISTANCE TO THE RIM OF THE 1ST INWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

The East-West diameter is .704". The progression that stems from this is:

.704, 1.408, 2.112, 2.816, 3.52, 4.224, 4.928, 5.632, 6.336, 7.04, etc. The progression goes on to provide 1056, 5280 and ultimately 130680000' for the equatorial circumference of the Earth

The North-South diameter is .6912". The progression that stems from this goes:

.6912, 1.3824, 2.0736, 2.7648, 3.456, 4.1472, 4.8384, 5.5296, 6.2208, 6.912, etc., The progression advances to generate 1036.8, 12441.6 & 24883.2.

In the above lineup of numbers generated, 69.12-miles would be 1-degree of arc in a world of 12 X 12 X 12 X 12 X 1.2-miles (24883.2). Alternatively 20.736" was the length of the longest Egyptian Royal cubit and 20.736-miles would be 1/1200ths of the equatorial circumference. The sum of 345.6-feet would equate to the outer rim circumference of the Sarsen Circle at Stonehenge (11.52' X 30 lintels) and 345.6-miles would be 1/72nd of the circumference or 5-degrees of arc. The value 1036.8 miles per hour is the Earth's speed of rotation, whereas 1036.8-miles would be 1/24th of the Earth's circumference or 15-degrees of arc. The sum of 12441.6-miles would be half the circumference of the 24883.2-mile Earth.

DISTANCE TO THE TROUGH OF THE 1ST INWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

The East-West diameter is .7425" and this progression goes:

.7425, 1.485, 2.2275, 2.97, 3.7125, 4.455, 5.1975, 5.94, 6.6825, 7.425, 8.1675, 8.91, etc. The progression advances to 130680000', which would equate to 24750 English miles of 5280' or 22000 Scottish miles of 5940' (1-furlong longer than the English mile).

The North-South diameter is the same @ .7425.

DISTANCE TO THE OUTER RIM OF THE 1ST OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This distance is .792" East-West, as well as North-South and this progression runs:

.792, 1.584, 2.736, 3.168, 3.96, 4.752, 5.544, 6.336, 7.128, 7.92, etc. The progression goes on to generate values like 1980, 3360, 7920, coding 1/4 of the Earth's diameter, it's radius and full diameter. The sum of 7920-miles X PI @ 1728/550ths (3.141818182) = 24883.2. Alternatively, 7920-miles X 3.125 (another, less precise form of PI) = 24750.

The true diameter of the Earth is 7926.6 -miles, so the druids and their forebears were making navigational calculations with a high degree of accuracy.

DISTANCE TO THE INNER RIM OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is .96" East West and this progression goes:

.96, 1.92, 2.88, 3.84, 4.8, 5.76, 6.72, 7.68, 8.64, etc.

The East-West width of Stonehenge was set out to be 384'. The distance up the sloping diagonal face of the Great Pyramid from the base to the flat top altar floor was 576'. The sum of 6720' was the Irish mile and there are 19440 Irish miles in the 24883.2 Greek mile equatorial circumference of the Earth (130636800').

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system).

This is .972" North-South and this progression goes:

.972, 1.944, 2.916, 3.888, 4.86, 5.832, 6.804, 7.776, 8.748, 9.72, 10.692, 11.664, 12.636, 13.608, 14.58, 15.552, 16.524, 17.496, 18.468, 19.44, etc.

Again, this string relates to what Julius Caesar said about the druidic preoccupation of lecturing concerning "the magnitude of the Earth and its divisions", in values of 1/2, 1/4, 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32nd, 1/64tn, 1/128th, 1/256th, etc. In this line-up the sum of 1555.2-miles would be 1/8th of the 24883.2-mile circumference.

DISTANCE TO THE CENTRE TROUGH OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is 1" East-West once again. It becomes indisputable that the 1" increment was the foundation value for the druidic length and volume system, as well as for their predecessors within the scattered cousin civilisations of antiquity. Because of the ability of the cousin nations to grid reference the world for successful navigation, they were able to range all across the world at will and even to New Zealand at the extreme base of the South of the Pacific Ocean (the very ends of the Earth).

This is 1.024" North-South and this progression goes:

1.024, 2.048, 3.072, 4.096, 5.12, 6.144, 7.168, 8.192, 9.216, etc. The progression goes on to generate 1536, 2560 and ultimately to 130636800' for a full equatorial circumference of 24883.2 Greek miles.

DISTANCE TO THE OUTER RIM OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is 1.05 East-West and 1.066666 North-South.

The 1.05 progression runs:

1.05, 2.1, 3.15, 4.2, 5.25, 6.3, 7.35, 8.4, 9.45, 10.5, 11.55, 12.6, 13.65, 14.7, 15.75, 16.8, 17.85, 18.9, 19.95, 21, etc. The progression goes on to generate 2551.2, 2835, 5250, 6300 etc.

This value, as 10.5' or 126" was the Hebrew Reed, as well as a reed increment used under the measurement system adopted by the Greeks, with a foot of 12.6". The value 2551.5 in days would equate to 7.2 lunar years and this value was essential to tracking the moon during 7-solar years (2556.25-days) under the lunisolar Sabbatical Calendar system, The 2835 figure represents the perimeter total, in feet, for a full circumnavigation of the Khafre Pyramid, conceived and built to be 708.75' per side or 15/16th the side length of the Great Pyramid. The 5250 figure is the Greek mile and 6300' would be 10 stadia.

The 1.066666" progression goes:

1.0666666, 2.1333333, 3.2, 4.2666666, 5.333333, 6.4, etc.

The French once used an ancient foot measurement (Pied du Roi or Paris foot ... also used in Quebec), handed down from antiquity, of 1.06666' or 12.8".

From this foot, the ancient French had a Toise measurement of 6 such feet, equaling 6.4 feet of 12-inches. They also had a tradition called the "Lieue de 25 au degré" (25 Leagues per degree of the Earth's circumference). This league is said to have been the slightly drifted value of 2.764-miles, but would be perfect if read as 2.7648-miles. Thereby, 25 such leagues would be 69.12-miles (of 5280') for 1-degree of arc, culminating in a world of 24883.2-miles or 12 X 12 X 12 X 12 X 1.2.

DISTANCE TO THE INNER RIM OF THE 3RD OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is 1.08" East-West and the progression generates:

1.08, 2.16, 3.24, 4.32, 5.4, 6.48, 7.56, 8.64, 9.72, 10.8, 11.88, 12.96, 14.04, 15.12, 16.2, 17.28, 18.36, 19.44, 20.52, 21.6, 22.68, 23.76, 24.84, 25.92, 30.24, etc.

This progression relates to both navigation and the Precession of the Equinoxes. The sun spends 2160-years in each of the Houses of the Zodiac during the 25920-year (72 X 360) cycle of Precession. This means we have to change our calendar date for the equinox event 1-day every 72-years to keep in line with the actual vernal equinox. The ancient Sumerian/Babylonian Homer volume was 21600 cubic inches, the old English bushel was 1/10th of that @ 2160 cubic inches, the diameter of the moon is 2160 English miles, whereas the diameter of the sun is essentially 864,000-miles.

In our ages-old Sumerian compass system there are 60-seconds, 60-minutes & 360-degrees, totaling 1296000-seconds of arc. The sum of 12960-years would be the half cycle of the Precession of the Equinoxes. A cubic foot is 12 X 12 X 12 cubic inches or 1728" cu. Values like 756, 1512, 2268 and 3024 describe 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or a full circumnavigation of the Great Pyramid's base.

This is 1.1" North-South and the progression runs.

1.1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.4, 5.5, etc, leading on to such values as 13.2, 16.5, 17.6, 26.4, 29.7, 35.2, 52.8, 59.4, 70.4, 79.2, 82.5, 165, etc.

The sum of 1320' is a 1/4 of a mile, 1760' is 1/3rd of a mile, 2640' is 1/2 a mile, 5280' an English mile, 2970' is 1/2 an ancient Scottish mile and 5940' a full Scottish mile. The sum of 7920 English miles was the calculated diameter of the Earth and this value X 3.125 (an ancient approximation on PI for this number family) = 24750 English miles for the Equatorial circumference. Similarly, the 5280' mile X 3.125 = 1 ancient English league of 16500'. In other words, there were 7920 leagues in the equatorial circumference, or 22000 Scottish miles.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130680000' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5280' mile system).

DISTANCE TO THE CENTRE TROUGH OF THE 3RD OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is 1.12" East-West. The progression runs:

1.12, 2.24, 3.36, 4.48, 5.6, 6.72, 7.84, 8.96, 10.08, 11.2, 12.32, 13.44, 14.56, 15.68, 16.8, 17.92, 19.04, 20.16, etc. The progression goes on to generate numbers like 22.68, 28 or 30.24.

Based upon older precedents, the English ton was 2240 pounds (lbs) or 20 hundredweight (cwt) of 112 lbs each. In the English pound weight there are 16 ounces of 437.5 grains each or 7000 grains total. In the English stone weight there are 224 ounces. The value 100.8' would be 1-second of equatorial arc, whereas 2016' would be 1/3rd of 1-minute of arc and 3024' 1/2 a minute of arc under the Great Pyramid base perimeter system.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system). The 130636800' circumference ÷ 112 = 1166400 (Note: the Roman foot was 11.664").

This is 1.134" North-South.

1.134, 2.268, 3.402, 4.536, 5.67, 6.804, 7.938, 9.072, 10.206, 11.34, 12.474, 13.608, etc. The progression carries on to produce 1701, 3402, 6804 and ultimately 130636800' for the equatorial size of the Earth. Herodotus, the Greek historian was told by Egyptian priests that the Great Pyramid was 800-feet long. This would mean a foot of 11.34", one of many types in use for doing various kinds of calculations. Three side measures of the Great Pyramid @ 756' (of 12") per side = 2268' or 1134' X 2).

The values 1701, 3402 & 6804 are simply 1/4th, 1/2 and the full duration of the lunar nutation cycle in days. The value 453.6' is the vertical height of the Great Pyramid to the top of it's flat altar floor (built as a truncated pyramid).

DISTANCE TO THE OUTER RIM OF THE 3RD OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is 1.152" East-West and the progression generated goes:

1.152, 2.304, 3.456, 4.608, 5.76, 6.192, 8.604, 9.216, 10.368, 11.52, 12.672, 13.824, 14.976, 16.128, 17.28, 18.432, 19.584, 20.736, etc. The progression goes on to generate 288, 3110.4, 3456, 12441.6 or 24883.2.

This coding represents the equatorial size of the Earth for navigation according to English miles of 5280' each, which falls short of the true equatorial circumference (24902) by only 18.8-miles.

This navigational coding using the "11" family of overland measurements is found at Stonehenge on the outer rim of the Sarsen Circle, which was intended to convey a coded circumference of 345.6'.

This was based upon one inner rim cross measure of 100' + 5' width of the lintel stones sitting atop the Sarsen pillars of the circle = 110'. The evidence shows that when the ancient mathematicians made "11" family numbers convert to circumferences, they used PI @ 1728/550ths. Therefore 110' X 3.141818182 = 345.6' for the circuit of the outer rim.

There were originally 30 horizontally-lying lintel stones, therefore 345.6' ÷ 30 = 11.52' per lintel outer face. The entire circumference was also 200 of the largest Egyptian Royal Cubits @ 20.736" each. The outer rim of the Sarsen Circle (345.6 ... read as miles) was supposed to represent 1/72nd of the Earth's equatorial circumference. Likewise, the generated value of 3110.4-miles represented 1/8th of the circumference or 45-degrees of arc. The sum of 11.52-miles would be 1/2160th of the 24883.2-mile circumference.

likewise, 24883.2 ÷ 360 = 69.12-miles for 1-degree of arc ÷ 60 = 1.152-miles for 1-minute of arc.

The North-South diameter is s 1.18125" and it generates the following progression:

1.18125, 3.54375, 4.725, 5.90625, 7.0875, 8.26875, 9.45, 10.63125, 11.8125, etc. The progression advances to produce 18.9, 28.35, 29.53125, 354.375, 6804 and ultimately 130636800.

The sum of 118.125-days would equate to 4 lunar months of 29.53125-days. The value 354.375, in days, is one lunar year. The value 708.75, in feet, is the intended length of the Khafre Pyramid of Egypt (a pyramid of the moon) which was 15/16ths of the Great Pyramid's length (756'). The value 6804, in days, was the anciently chosen, factorable number to describe the duration of the lunar nutation cycle. The sum of 2835' was the 4-sided circuit value of the Khafre Pyramid and 189' was 1/4th of 1-side length of the Great Pyramid.

The value 118.125' was the base increment used to build the Khafre Pyramid as two 3,4,5 triangles back to back. Therefore: horizontally from the pyramid's end to the middle was 354.375' (3 X 118.125'), the vertical height was 472.5' (4 X 118.125') and the diagonal faces were 590.625' (5 X 118.125').

The last of the 12-faces of Brian Campbell's dodecahedron, with the carefully scaled, coded elliptical circles slotting very nicely into place. Hopefully Brian's find can now lead to the deciphering of the more intact dodecahedron artefacts that have been discovered across Celtic Europe and the British Isles. The numbers and progressions encoded into this one will be repeated in whole or in part on all the rest (about 120 found so far).

MEASUREMENT THROUGH THE CENTRE HOLES TO OPPOSING FACES

In order to ascertain the actual width for the central body of his dodecahedron, not counting the legs, Brian Campbell measured through the holes to the opposing face top surface and wrote:

The measured distance from top-face to lower-face, excluding the pegs, range from 49.38mm to 51.03mm, for starters... Almost exactly two inches!

The first diameter measurement was 49.38 mm which translates to 1.9440945". The intended in-built code was 1.944" (less than 1/10,000th of an inch error) and the progression that stems from this goes:

1.944, 3.888, 5.832, 7.776, 9.72, 11.664, 13.608, 15.552, 17.496, 19.44, etc. The progression advances to generate numbers like 2916, 3110.4, 4665.6, 4860, 5443.2, 5832, 9331.2, 12441.6 and, ultimately 24883.2

In other words it's identifying divisions of the Earth, for example:

The sum of 194.4-miles would be 1/128th of the 24883.2-mile circumference, 388.8-miles would be 1/64th, 777.6-miles would be 1/32nd, 1555.2 would be 1/16th, 3110.4-miles would be 1/8th, 12441.6-miles would be 1/2, etc.

In the above line-up, 11.664" became the Roman foot and 58.32" became the Roman Pace, whereas 4860' (5000 Roman feet) became their mile. The value 466.56' is intimated in a circumference at Stonehenge, with a post at the beginning of the Avenue marking 233.28' diameter across the site or 116.64' radius from site centre. These so-called Roman measurement increments, therefore, predate the Romans by at least 2 thousand years and the same holds true of the so-called Greek measurements.

Brian Campbell's second through-measurement was 51.03 mm, which equates to 2.0090551" or 2-inches to a tolerance of about 1/1100th of an inch. It is by no means inconsequential that the British standard inch has been found on Faces 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 12.

Yet more codes need to be extracted. This would include using vernier callipers to measure the distances from the centre dimples (indents) in the knop-peg legs, going leg-to-leg. Also the side lengths of each pentagonal face need to be carefully measured, as these also will contain length codes.

Brian Campbell, on request, has sent through a reading on the weight of his dodecahedron artefact, which equals 122 grams. This converts to 1882.75-grains.

I had previously written: 'the artefact needs to be weighed on super-sensitive medical scales, as it's very probable that it will comply to one of the grain-weight standards and used for creating weights, larger multiplications of which could be fabricated in stone as market-place weights'.

As it turns out, the probable, sought after grain weight for the artefact, when new, and in pristine condition was 1890-grains or only 7.25 grains more than it weighs today.

This being the case, if the dodecahedron was intended to be 1890-grains, then it was 1/200th of Babylonian Gold Standard Talent, which was also adopted by the Romans and 1/8th of King Nebuchadnezzar's Mina weight of 15120-grains. It was 1/480th of the Babylonian Talent, which was also adopted by Charlemagne. Brian's dodecahedron is 1/4th of Charlemagne's Mina weight and 1/100th of King John's Pile weight. Both Charlemagne and King John modelled their standards on the much older standards of the BC epoch.

Of course, a quarter of the length of the Great Pyramid is 189' or 1/32nd of 1-minute of equatorial arc. A count-up of all squares, showing days per square, on the druidic Calendar of Coligny, bronze plaque artefact, comes to 1890-days.

At the time of this writing, 12 further high resolution, straight-on-the-face photos have been received from the Gallo-Roman Museum, Tongeren, Belgium, complete with a scale bar, showing the dodecahedron in their collection. This allows yet another artefact to be decoded as time permits.

SO, WHAT CAN WE CONCLUDE?

An ancient druid with a set of callipers and a graduated rule would have used the dodecahedron very effectively as a mnemonic device for recall of profound sciences encoded by numbers. Of course the druidic master would already have, long since, memorised the numbers by grueling rote and repetition under the tutelage of former teachers. It was imperative to hand these numbers on, intact and uncorrupted, to each ensuing generation.

For anyone wishing to decipher remnant standing stone circles or the sprawling mound complexes (open air universities) that fan out from the centre of, say, Avebury Henge in Southern England or Brodgar Ring in the Orkney Isles of Scotland, these progressions provide the needed numbers for understanding why the outlier markers sit at purpose-placed distances and angles away from the central hub position. Each distance and each angle around from North from the hub position to the outer marker will provide a number. All one needs to do is measure the distances in British Standard feet and inches or determine the angle within the 360-degree system and the long-dormant codes, sleeping within the (more-often-than-not) recumbent stones of the sites, will be awakened and revealed anew.

Our archaeologists are only 1-inch away from making huge discoveries, but it's probably an inch too far for most of them.
